Company Description

Dune Architects Ltd is a small practice based in central Southampton. We specialise in projects around the UK coastline and the marine environment.

We are Architects, Project Managers, and Principal Designers. We have recently setup the practice as like-minded individuals providing a quality service for our clients and are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic about architecture and the built environment to join our team.

Role Description

This is a full-time role and we are keen to hear from Architects and Architectural Assistants at all levels as the right person is more important than the level of experience or qualifications.

The successful candidate will integrate into the team and contribute with all aspects of running a busy young practice. This will include architectural design work, assist in the preparation of planning and technical drawings, collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors at site stage, supporting projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities may also include project management and contract administration duties, depending on experience and level of expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum: degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 1)

Skills

• Proven skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with attention to detail and creativity

• Communicate effectively

• Work collaboratively within a team environment, within the office and externally

• Ability to manage your time

• Proficiency in using architectural software for drawings and design (Revit / Photoshop)

Experience

• Experience in professional practice is beneficial but not essential, as all levels will be considered
