Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat Station involved the extension and refurbishment of the existing facility to enhance both operational capacity and public engagement. A new extension provides shelter for the Searider lifeboat. A spacious crew room and meeting space with exceptional operational views sits above. The project also includes refurbishment of the Arctic Boathouse with a new public viewing platform, alongside internal reconfiguration to improve crew facilities, including enlarged changing areas and upgraded washrooms. Sustainability measures such as photovoltaic panels and an air source heat pump have been integrated.
